It is open to any BC resident, including people affected by someone else's gambling. That covers a family member or friend worried about another person's betting, not only the person who gambles.
Anyone already at a casino has help even closer than a phone call. A GameSense Advisor is available in every casino in British Columbia. GameBreak self-exclusion
Through BCLC's GameBreak program, a person can bar themselves from BC casinos and community gaming centres. Each person selects a single option among four: 1 year, 6 months, 3 years or 2 years. The same exclusion applies to PlayNow.com for the same period. Once a term is chosen, it cannot be changed, so the length should be settled before it starts.
